Shift gears into "The Wasteland" and it's blues rhythm followed by "Ballad Of The Boy In The Red Shoes" which sounds reminiscent of "Tiny Dancer" and finally it all ends on "This Train Don't Stop There Anymore", and song about not going back and making the same mistakes but moving forward with renewed confidence, much like "Songs From The West Coast". This cd keeps album filler to a /5().

May 15,  · Throughout his songs for The Road to El Dorado, Elton John hinted at his classic sound of the early '70s, but it's still a refreshing surprise to find him largely returning to that sound on his album, Songs From the West fighfeelecurtothe.fullledevilmesitimentmoburarle.co was easy to think that John wasn't interested in writing like this anymore, given not just his continued success, but the ease with which he was crafting.

Songs From The West Coast. Elton’s 28th studio album featured three singles, Original Sin, This Train Don't Stop There Anymore and I Want Love, the last of which went on to be nominated for a Grammy nomination for Best Male Pop Vocal Performance.

Sep 18,  · Songs From The West Coast was his first studio album in four years. It was another set of songs that was heavy on ballads and continued his trend of issuing adult contemporary music. This album was a back to basics affair. At its foundation it was vocal, guitar, drums, bass, and piano.
